AARP (formerly the American Association of Retired Persons) is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting people aged 50+. An AARP membership provides access to a wide range of benefits, including discounts on travel, restaurants, insurance, and prescription medications. Members also receive a subscription to AARP The Magazine and access to online tools, financial and retirement planning resources, health information, and advocacy efforts on issues affecting older adults. While membership is primarily for those 50 and older, spouses or partners can join regardless of age.
